About Jeff
Like anyone, Jeff's "About" page has a personal side and a business side to it. He is "hopelessly devoted to my beautiful wife and our wonderful son and the many great friends in my life. I love having fun, developing myself, and helping others in any way I can."
That carries right into the business side where he continues learning ways to help others, always with integrity and as much fun as possible, while still getting the job done. Serving Seniors Now |
There are several reasons that Jeff became a Medicare Supplement Insurance Agent. When asked to explain, he said, “I want to make a difference… Helping others has always been a part of my DNA. And I have seen too many seniors taken advantage of because they did not receive appropriate information or guidance regarding their choices.”
He further stated, “Educating my clients is of paramount importance to me. I grew up working in the woodworking industry with my grandfather who had built a vibrant and successful custom office furniture company. To this day, I still enjoy building anything out of wood. When my grandparent’s sold the family business to fund their retirement, I was able to take the education poured into me and use it to service my wholesale woodworking clients possessing an intimate knowledge of the issues and challenges they faced. I have always felt that ‘sales’ are more about educating your clients about the best value and how to be of the greatest service to them.”
Desiring to be home to care for his wife in 2015, Jeff began working in the health insurance industry. Once immersed in it, he realized he wanted to focus on a more specialized area of insurance involving the senior population. “After checking with some of my senior friends, I quickly understood, first hand, how complicated the transition into Medicare can be and how many seniors are being exploited by agents who are just in it for a ‘quick sale’.” He went on, “In my experience, I have seen the good and the ugly when it comes to seniors over paying, not understanding the coverage they have, or what would be best for them and fit their lifestyle. As an independent agent and founder of Medicare Supplement Saver, my goal is to help them navigate this complex area to find the right solution AND save them as much of their hard earned dollars as possible. Truly a win - win. Medicare is personal, very personal. I enjoy being an advocate for seniors, helping with the decisions that need to be made today and into the future.”

Serving our Country
Jeff joined the US Navy after high school graduation and fondly recalls “so many great stories” from that time. It came as no surprise that he became an HT Hull Technician; his aptitude testing resulted in recommending their A-School with curriculum in fire-fighting, sheet metal layout and fabrication, brazing, silver soldering and welding. His diligence and passion were recognized and he was asked to return after graduating as one of their first student instructors, serving for 18 months. Teaching became another passion for him, one which he has utilized throughout his lifetime.
Assigned to the (UDT) Underwater Demolition Team 22 in Little Creek Virginia next, he worked in the shop on the Mark 8 and Mark 9 Seal Delivery Vehicles (SDV - Minisub) body panels and maintenance. His final (9) months were spent with the UDT Team 22 who were guests on board the USS Trenton (LPD-14) amphibious transport ship executing training maneuvers in the Mediterranean. Serving two more years in the Inactive Reserves, he then received an Honorable Discharge. “‘Join the Navy and see the world’ was certainly true for me and a very enjoyable life experience.”
